2. Program of the journey

Enquire or Book

Long Xuyên, on the first day at noon

Boarding at Long Xuyen at noon. Welcome drink, introduction to the ship and crew, check into the cabins. Departure douwstream of the Hau river. Lunch on board while en route.
After lunch, transfer on the longboat for a visit of a crocodile farm.
Upon arrival at Thot Not, transfer on the longboat to take some walks at the bamboo village in Thot Not.
Boarding back at dusk, rest on the deck for the sunset while taking somes drinks at the bar.
The dinner is served on board. The Bassac continue to take the way to Can Tho and drops anchors near Can Tho for the night.

Day 2

Breakfast is available from 06:30, while the ship is crossing Can Tho city towards the Cai Rang floating market.
Arrival in Cai Rang floating market, transfer onto a local boat to visit the floating market, the nearby arroyos and gardens and return to the Ninh Kieu pier.
Arrival at Ninh Kieu, Can Tho, late morning.
Lunch on shore in an old French-era building of the Comptoirs d'Indochine. Visit of the old Can Tho market. Boarding back, welcome drink and departure towards upstream river Bassac.
Upon arrival at Thot Not, transfer on the longboat for a visit of the famous Thot Not bird park, at the time the egrets return home from a day out.
Boarding back before dusk, a welcome drink and the dinner are served on board while en route towards Cho Moi.
The bar is open, rest on the deck before the night. The Bassac drops anchor near Cho Moi for the night.

Day 3

Breakfast is served from 6:30 AM, as the ship is on her way upstream the Bassac river, then on Vàm Nao river towards Cho Moi.
Upon arrival to Cho Moi, check-out and transfer onto a local boat for the visit of the cages of a floating fish-farm, then final disembarkment.

End of services by mid-morning on shore at Chợ Mới.

Please note you will leave the Bassac for good upon boarding the small boat for the last visit, typically about 8:30.
